Dual standby allows you to monitor two channels at the same time – it's like having two radios in one. Compatibility with various EFIS systems makes it possible to remotely control the TY91 radio - it can even power the on-route frequency from a connected GPS. A memory function allows quick frequency selection for your most used frequencies. A built-in intercom with mic gain adjustment on each headset ensures excellent performance, even when the headset brands don't match.

PRODUCT FEATURES
With a clear and crisp display and a simple user interface, the TRIG radio boasts some cool features; The "Dual Watch" function makes it possible to monitor two frequencies at the same time. There are 9 preset channel memories that are easily selectable.
The compact TRIG radio is approved by EASA ETSO and FAA TSO and can therefore be used worldwide. Our "Push Step" function allows for the fastest adjustment in its class - three times faster than in an 8.33 environment! For customers who do not require 8.33 channel spacing, this function can be disabled, allowing quick selection between 50 kHz and 25 kHz spacing. This allows for a quick frequency change while providing fine tuning in 25 kHz steps if required.
The TRIG radios also have a high-quality built-in two-seater intercom with an auxiliary input, saving more cost and weight.
GPS COMPATIBILITY
The radio can integrate with popular GPS units; this allows automatic display of radio frequencies en route. Radio control via EFIS display is also possible using the standard SL40 and GTR225 protocols. This unique capability integrates your TRIG radio with other avionics and provides real flexibility to the user.
PRODUCT DESIGN
The innovative use of a control head and a separate radio hardware unit provides more installation options, especially when space is limited. The control head can be conveniently mounted in a 57 mm (2 1/4") round hole or a smaller compact mount. The assembly is simple and once installed, The depth of the radio control head is only 74 mm (3"). In practice, this means that the compact TRIG control head can be located in the dashboard of an aircraft where a "single box" radio simply will not fit. The compact radio is the ideal communication partner for our compact Mode S transponder (1090 ES ADS-B Out transponders).
PUSH STAGE
The compact radio display is clear and bright, displaying both primary and secondary frequencies. A "Push Step" button allows for the fastest change from 8.33kHz to 25kHz – so you can set the radio quickly without compromising your alertness. The Dual Watch feature makes it possible to monitor two frequencies at the same time - it's like having two radios in one.
HELMETS
The compact two-seater radio intercom TRIG is optimized for use with standard aviation headsets - a number of settings allow the radio to be used successfully in noisy aircraft. The compact radio also has a built-in speaker amplifier that can drive an external speaker, which is preferred by some glider pilots. If you are using a dynamic microphone with a TRIG radio, please note that an amplified adapter will be required.
