AeroCoax, developed by Aerowood, is a new range of custom-made coaxial cable assemblies.
These cables are made to order in our workshop at an affordable price.
Just follow 4 simple steps to build your assemblies.
The cable is then pre-assembled and delivered ready to use.
Choose your coaxial cable (black or brown, depending on our stock)

A custom coaxial cable for radio avionics and transponder antennas is an electrical cable made to meet the specific requirements of a given application within an avionics system. It is generally used to connect the aircraft's communication and navigation equipment, such as radio and transponder antennas, to control units and displays.
Avionics coaxial cables are generally made from high-quality materials to withstand extreme conditions such as high temperatures, vibration, mechanical shock and electromagnetic radiation. Outer jackets and connectors are often made of highly corrosion-resistant materials to ensure a long service life in aviation environments.
Custom avionics coaxial cables are generally made to precise specifications, such as outer diameter, number of conductors, jacket type, connectors and electrical characteristics.
It generally includes:
- A center conductor that carries the electrical signal. It is usually made of copper or a copper-aluminum alloy for good electrical conductivity.
- A shield, usually a metal braid surrounding the center conductor, that protects against electromagnetic interference.
- An outer jacket that protects the cable from external conditions. It is usually made of plastic, such as PVC or TPE, for better resistance to high temperatures and mechanical shock.
It is important to note that avionics coaxial cables must meet strict safety standards set by aviation certification authorities to ensure the reliability and safety of aircraft equipment.
