Definition of terms used in the privacy policy

The following will be designated:

  • "Personal data" : is defined as " any information relating to an identified natural person or who can be identified, directly or indirectly, by reference to an identification number or to one or more elements specific to him", in accordance with the Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978.
  • "Service" : the www.shop.aerowood.fr service and all of its content.
  • "Publisher" or "We"  : SASU AEROWOOD, legal entity responsible for the edition and content of the Service.
  • "User" or "You" : the Internet user visiting and using the Service. 

Article 1 - Introduction and role of the Privacy Policy

The purpose of this charter is to inform you of the Service's commitments with regard to respect for your privacy and the protection of Personal Data concerning you, collected and processed during your use of the Service.

People who have agreed to subscribe to our newsletter can potentially receive an SMS from us 3 to 4 times a year. The dice can be done by answering STOP as mentioned in the SMS.

Article 2 - Data collected on the Site

The Data collected and subsequently processed by the Service are those that you voluntarily transmit to us by completing the various forms present within the Service. We also collect, use and share aggregated data such as statistical or demographic data for any purpose. Aggregated data may come from your personal information but is not affected as such by law as this data does not directly reveal your identity. For example, we may aggregate your usage data to calculate the percentage of users who access a specific feature of the Service.

For the purpose of providing better content and services, the Service www.shop.  aerowood.fr uses the analysis service of Google Analytics. Google Analytics does not track your browsing habits on third-party services. The information about you to which Google Analytics has access does not contain any personal data about you.

We do not collect so-called "sensitive" data.

The contact details of Users of the Service who have registered on it will be saved, in compliance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978. The collection of Users' Personal Data by the Publisher does not require a declaration to the French authority for the protection of Personal Data (the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés – CNIL).

Article 4 - Purpose of the Data collected

The Data identified as mandatory on the forms of the Service are necessary in order to benefit from the corresponding functionalities of the Service, and more specifically the operations on the content offered within it.

The Service may collect and process the Data of its Users:

  • For the purpose of providing you with information or services to which you have subscribed, including: Banks.
  • For the purpose of collecting information that allows us to improve our Service, products and features (including through the use of cookies).
  • For the purpose of being able to contact you about: your orders on www.shop.aerowood.fr.

Article 5 - Recipients and use of the Data collected

The Data collected by us is processed for the purposes of performing operations on the contents of the Service.

Only SASU AEROWOOD is the recipient of your Personal Information. These are never transmitted to a third party, notwithstanding the subcontractors that SASU AEROWOOD uses. Neither SASU AEROWOOD nor its subcontractors market the personal data of visitors and users of its Service.

Article 7 - Data security

You are informed that your Data may be disclosed pursuant to a law, regulation or pursuant to a decision of a competent regulatory or judicial authority or, if necessary, for the purposes of preserving the Publisher's rights and interests.

Article 8 - Data retention period

SASU AEROWOOD has previously ensured the implementation by its service providers of adequate guarantees and compliance with strict conditions in terms of confidentiality, use and data protection. In particular, vigilance has focused on the existence of a legal basis for any transfer of data to a third country. As such, some of our service providers are subject to internal corporate rules (or "Binding Corporate Rules") which were approved by the CNIL in 2016 while the others obey not only Standard Contractual Clauses but also the Privacy Shield.

You will not have to pay any fees for access to your personal data (or for exercising any other rights). However, we may charge you a reasonable fee if your request is manifestly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. In this case, we may also refuse to comply with your request.

Article 12 - Cookie Policy

When you first use the www.shop.aerowood.fr, you are warned by a banner that information about your browsing may be recorded in alphanumeric files called "cookies".
