Carbon monoxide (CO) detector in card format. It is lightweight, discreet and works without batteries or maintenance. Often glued with a small piece of double-sided adhesive to the dashboard, once out of its transparent packaging, it is already operational.

Description
Carbon monoxide (CO) is an extremely dangerous colourless, odourless and tasteless gas that can result in life-threatening pilot disability, even in small amounts. Deadly carbon monoxide (CO) is produced wherever fossil fuels (such as gasoline, kerosene, diesel, natural gas and propane) are burned without enough oxygen.
This carbon monoxide detector can save a pilot's life, especially when flying with the heater on, by warning of the presence of CO in the cockpit - the tell-tale turns grey/black when CO is in the air. The stain on the detector returns to its normal color after being exposed to fresh air.
You can use this PILOT CONTROLLER® as a personal and portable CO detection device.
With the adhesive back, stick it on the panel or dashboard for semi-permanent installation, or wear it on an identification badge or cord.
Unopened CO detectors have a shelf life until 2027, indicated by the expiration date on the back. Once removed from the packaging, the PILOT CONTROLLER® will last for 12 months.

CAREFUL: The detector will be damaged by the presence of halogens (iodine, chlorine, bromine), alcohol, ammonia or nitrous gas. Do not use near diesel engines. Direct sunlight will tend to bleach the indicator spot and shorten the useful life.
The PILOT CONTROLLER® is ideal for use in plane, boat, car or home.
Easy to use thanks to a color code. The foam in the center of the card reacts to contact with the gas and changes color to warn you.
The color ORANGE indicates that everything is correct, no danger.
The color GRISE indicates the presence of monoxide that begins to appear. It is imperative that you take the necessary measures to ventilate your cabin and remedy the cause of the presence of gas.
The color BLACK indicates a DANGER and the detection of carbon monoxide certainly.
Directions for use: shelf life 3 years in its packaging or 12 months after opening.
A space is provided on the map to write the opening date.
