Description

Chosen by drivers around the world, TRIG 's compact transponders are the best choice for a good reason.

Inserted into the smallest panel space, the innovative design saves weight and space. TRIG is "best by design," with Mode S technology that makes you visible for commercial, military and GA traffic, so that transiting a busy airspace becomes more predictable and stress-free. Transponders TRIG are also time-tested - the increasing use of ADS-B further improves your visibility and flight safety. Unlike other brands, transponders TRIG meet the latest certification standard for ADS-B, FAA TSO-C166b.

Designed to be easier to use, with a bright, clear display, the controller even comes with a built-in altitude encoder! Join other drivers who have made TRIG their compact transponder of choice - you'll be in good company.

  • Compact form factor - takes up minimal space on the panel, fits into a compact or standard 57 mm instrument hole.
  • Minimal depth - create space on your panel for other avionics.
  • Integrated altitude coder
  • Certified for IFR / VFR flight
  • Manual grading function (adjustable backlighting)
  • Low energy consumption
  • EASA ETSO and FAA TSO Certification - includes TSO-C166b the latest ADS-B standard
  • Approvals for free european minor changes
  • FAA ADS-B STC free for 576 aircraft types
  • Unbeatable value and quality - designed and manufactured in the UK

PRODUCT DESIGN

The compact TRIG transponder is in two parts with a compact control head; this includes an integrated altitude encoder - saving more space and expense. A separate box of equipment can be installed anywhere in the cell. The mounted control head is only 54 mm (2 3/25") deep and can be installed in the panel using a 57 mm (2 1/4") round hole or a smaller compact support - the unit comes with the necessary fittings for both installation options. Our compact transponders are very efficient, although used in a wide range of GA types, they are perfectly suited for use in glers and balloons, via an auxiliary battery.

TRIG's compact transponders are easy to use and have a crisp, bright display, easy to read in all lighting conditions and equipped with manual gradation. The transponder's control head is also splash-resistant, so it's ideal for open cockpit and seaplane operations.

OUTPUT POWER AND ADS-B

the TRIG TT21 has a rated output power of 130 watts, making it a Class 2 transponder that meets international standards for 1090ES ADS-B Out (TSO C166b). The TT21 is ideal for in-flight use when a lightweight S-mode solution is required and is suitable for both IFR and VFR use.

PRODUITS TRIG COMPATIBLES

ADS-B improves safety and visibility - your investment in a TT22 transponder is time-tested. TRIG has a corresponding certified GPS position source that is very affordable called TN72. This is ideal for the volunteer CREW ADS-B and the TN72 can even be used to fulfill the 2020 mandate by the types of light sports, experimental and handcrafted in the United States.

Our TN70 GPS position source is suitable for Part 23 certified aircraft that require a TSO-C145 position source for 2020 RULE ADS-B airspace operations using a TT22 transponder.

Customers in the United States should be aware that the FAA, Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) 91.227 requires a compliant ADS-B Out solution to use a Class 1 transponder. The TT22 is a Class 1 aircraft and meets this requirement. The TT21 is a Class 2 aircraft and does not meet these regulations.
