Description

Simple to install and operate, Trig's TT23 and TT23G are the new generation of Trig compact transponders, recognized worldwide for their reliability and innovative design. Now available with built-in GPS for the first time, this new generation is also lighter, smaller and more compact — designed to reduce bulk and weight in your aircraft.

Certified for IFR and VFR flight, the TT23 and TT23G are Class 1 Mode S transponders delivering 250 watts of transmit power. They make you visible to commercial, military and general aviation traffic, making transits through busy airspace more predictable and less stressful. Trig transponders are future-proof, with full ADS-B compatibility that enhances your visibility and safety in flight.

Trig is at the cutting edge of technology, meeting the latest FAA TSO-C166b certification standard for ADS-B. Designed for simplicity, the TT23 features a bright, easy-to-read display with a built-in altitude encoder. The TT23G goes one step further with an ETSO-C199 certified built-in GPS, the ideal solution for pilots seeking an integrated ADS-B Out system.

Join the many pilots who trust Trig for their compact transponder needs — you'll be in excellent company.

OUTPUT POWER AND ADS-B

Trig's TT23/TT23G has a rated output power of 250 watts, making it a Class 1 transponder that meets international standards for 1090ES ADS-B Out (TSO C166b). It is suitable for both IFR and VFR flight.

COMPATIBLE TRIG PRODUCTS

ADS-B improves safety and visibility — your investment in a TT23 transponder is future-proof. Trig offers the very affordable TN72 certified GPS position source, ideal for voluntary ADS-B equipage. The TN72 can also be used to meet the 2020 mandate for light sport, experimental and amateur-built aircraft in the United States.

Our TN70 GPS position source suits Part 23 certified aircraft requiring a TSO-C145 position source, for operations in airspace subject to the 2020 ADS-B rule with the TT23 transponder.

The TT23G has an internal GPS sensor and therefore does not require the TN72 or TN70 modules. This internal GPS is ETSO-C199 certified, suitable for voluntary equipage and compliant with the 2020 mandate for light sport, experimental and amateur-built aircraft in the United States.

Customers in the United States should be aware that FAA regulation 14 CFR 91.227 requires a compliant ADS-B Out solution to use a Class 1 transponder — the TT23 and TT23G both meet this requirement.
